Stuart Lawler lives in north inner city Dublin. He works in the Assistive Technology sector and has over 20 years’ experience in working in a range of technology, management and disability service roles.
Originally from Athy in co. Kildare, Stuart is totally blind but has never let that get in the way of living a fully active life.
He is an amateur audio and radio enthusiast and has produced many hours of podcast material.
He has a huge interest in Music and his primary degree, from University College Cork, is in that subject, with a specialism in Piano performance and Music Technology.
Stuart is always keen to understand how technology can enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. He often refers to technology as the greatest equaliser for people who are blind or have low vision.
